Back when I was attending Cal State Long Beach in my begging year I worked as a teacher assistant at my old community college for about two semesters. I worked with the story illustration teacher Kim Garrison. I was in charge of working with her two classes, having worked with the students and collect their illustration and assemble them into a book which they would sell at the end of their semester, to raise money for the Illustration club.

The students were all given one or two pages of the story and had to illustrate it. Having to work with around twenty-five begging and advance students was a challenge. With each student having a different level of skills and work habits gathering all the illustrations was not easy to assemble.
Moons of The Year is a book illustrated written by instructor Kim Garrison and is about Native American tribes and the seasons of the moon they had around the year, depicting the animals they represented along with their culture.
Monday's Child written by instructor Kim Garrison is a simple children's nursery rhyme with each child having a weird twist about them. The book  focuses on simple line art with different line techniques.
